The 180DVVT is the economical 1.5L naturally aspirated powertrain option across the full MG5 lineup, available in three trims: Manual Youth Trend, CVT Global Entry and CVT Global Luxury. Positioned as an affordable family car for daily urban commuting with price ranging from 67,900 to 85,900 RMB, it features low running and maintenance costs and targets budget-focused families, novice drivers and ride-hailing operators.

Overall dimensions: 4675×1842×1473mm, wheelbase 2680mm, configured as a 5-door 5-seat compact fastback sedan.
It features signature black vertical-slat front grille, falcon-eye automatic LED headlights, sleek fastback coupe profile, ducktail spoiler and split-style LED rear taillights.
All grades come with standard 16-inch multi-spoke silver alloy wheels. Regular-shaped trunk plus spacious rear legroom delivers ample loading capacity for family use.

Chassis layout: Front-wheel drive, front MacPherson independent suspension + rear torsion-beam non-independent suspension tuned for ride comfort. Standard XDS cornering brake control and ESC electronic stability control for stable urban driving.

Manual Youth Trend (Base Trim)
10.25-inch floating central touchscreen, Bluetooth & USB audio input, fabric seats, manual air conditioning, four-door power windows, electrically adjustable side mirrors.
Standard specs: keyless entry & push-button start, cruise control, hill-start assist, real-time TPMS; spare wheel removed and replaced with tire repair kit, one-touch auto-up for driver’s window only.
Global Entry / Global Luxury (CVT High Trims)
Add wireless CarPlay & HiCar mobile connectivity. Luxury trim further upgrades with panoramic sunroof, 256-color ambient interior lighting, 8-speaker audio, sport leather seats, L2 ADAS, heated side mirrors and electronic parking brake.
